Dr. Dennis Imafidon
Dr Dennis Esosa Imafidon is a Nigerian who hails from Oredo Local Government Area in Edo State. He is married to Mrs. Deborah Imafidon and blessed with three children. He was born in the 1970s as the last child of a family of eight children.
His educational background includes studies at Fabiyi Akpata Primary School, Edokpolor Grammar School, Benin City, and the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, where he was the Welfare Officer of the Students’ Union, amongst other leadership positions held as a youth.
Recently he was awarded a doctoral degree from the renown Prowess University Delaware USA. Doctor of Philosophy in Educational management honoris causa.
His core values include probity, integrity, fear of God, rectitude, and quality service delivery. He is a prominent figure at the gate of education across the continent.
He cofounded The Pedagogue International, a non-governmental organisation as far back as 2002 that empowers young adults with the tools, techniques, and thrust to gain admission into tertiary institutions via the instrumentality of symposiums and conferences, which featured Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka, Professor Jerry Agada, and Dr. Dele Ashade, to mention a few, as keynote speakers.
As part of his national human capacity developmental strides, he founded the Apex School of Reading and Writing for adult education in order to attenuate the level of illiteracy in society.
He is a passionate teacher per excellence who has taught across all levels of learning, from the daycare centre for children to nursery, primary, secondary, tertiary, and even adult education.
He has been teaching since February 1996 and has taught several professors, doctors, lawyers, engineers, business tycoons, and scientists. There is hardly any university or tertiary institution in Nigeria that does not have his former students.
He is presently a pastor at Spokesman Sanctuary of Hope Church, in charge of the youth group and men of integrity and vision (MIV). He is also the president of the full Gospel Businessmen fellowship international Ile-Ife main chapter where he demonstrates transformational leadership.
He is the director of the award-winning tutorial centre, Apex Tutors, a subsidiary of DeApexPrelim Nigeria Limited which he founded about two decades ago.
The tutorial centre has won several awards, among them the Award for the Best Tutorial Centre in Osun State in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and the Southwest Nigeria Outstanding Tutorial Centre of the Year in 2017. It also parades international students from countries such as Ghana, Botswana, and the UK, producing brainiacs over the years. As a firm believer in selfless service to humanity, there are scholarship slots for indigent students annually at Apex Tutors.
He is the proprietor and director of Apex Olive College, Ile-Ife, arguably the most beautiful secondary school in Southwest Nigeria.
It is a top-rated British American high school located in the academic town of Ile-Ife, Southwest Nigeria, with internationally approved and purpose-built facilities like smart classrooms, well-equipped ICT and science laboratories, a clinic, a library, sports facilities, a multimedia room, a 100 kVA generating plant, boarding facilities, etc., all in a serene, conducive, and secured area 1km from the Obafemi Awolowo University campus gate, giving children a competitive edge in today’s world and the best western education blended with indigenous culture.

He recently instituted the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II scholarship slots for indigent students at the college as part of his quest for humanitarianism.
Dr Dennis Esosa Imafidon has traveled far and wide to Scotland, Sheffield, Birmingham, London Manchester Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana to mention a few. He is also a versatile scholar that teaches various subjects with ease ranging from science subjects to commercial subjects to Arts subjects.
He has several articles published in various newspapers, journals and magazines. Recently, his article on Thriving in a Difficult Economy was published in The Spokesman magazine. He has also won several awards for outstanding leadership but time and space will not permit us to mention.
He also authored two textbooks on English and Physics, The New English Formula published in 1998, Physics in Action published in 2007.
